I can't imagine working with anyone other than Alyssa for our wedding. From our very first interest call, Alyssa was professional, knowledgeable, curious, warm, and friendly, which made both my husband (business man) and I (girlypop) very happy. We were largely planning our own wedding along with a month of coordinator. Alyssa was never pushy when I didn't have the energy to respond to emails, she never questioned our many, many visions for the day, and she dove headfirst into planning so that on the day of, Leo and I could just follow her lead. She traveled for our wedding in NYC and scouted locations so that we in addition to our ceremony and reception, we were also able to capture breathtaking first look photos at our hotel and portraits in Central Park.

While her portfolio is gorgeous, it only scratches the surface of how beautiful (and heart stopping, breathtaking, artistic, ethereal, FUN) her photos are. I know I will be looking through our full gallery for the rest of my life. I can guarantee your family will also be blown away and your Instagram followers will be obsessed. I cannot recommend Alyssa enough!!!

5 stars is truly not enough to rate our experience with Alyssa. Alyssa helped to bring our wedding to life and then captured it so beautifully! After booking our venue/picking a date, Alyssa was the first vendor we booked after following her work for some time on Instagram. As anticipated, the photos from our wedding are beautiful, and truly capture every detail of the day and her work is stunning - they will be treasured keepsakes for years to come. What I didn't anticipate was all of the other ways that Alyssa helped with our wedding. She spent time to send vision board ideas and helped create a timeline that worked perfectly for our day. Her attention to detail leading up to the wedding helped clarify our vision and finalize details that we hadn't even thought of! On the day of, Alyssa was such a calming presence and somehow also melted into the background to capture truly authentic moments. I was astounded that she managed to get a picture of every single one of our guests! We also received our gallery a whole month earlier than anticipated! Having Alyssa by our side for the wedding was the best decision we made!

Where do I even begin? My relationship with Alyssa began well before I said “I do.” As an avid lover of photography, I was always searching for artists who inspired me and had a unique story to tell. As soon as I came across Alyssa’s page and saw her incredibly beautiful, honest work, I knew she was the only person who could tell the story of my wedding day.

From developing a full mood board to scouting the perfect portrait locations to developing a full day-of timeline, she was extremely thorough as she carefully guided us toward our big day.

Even on the day of, everything she did and said was done with such intention and helped us truly be in the moment without worrying about the logistics. She made us feel extremely comfortable in front of the lens and gave us the freedom to simply be ourselves - which I’m so grateful came through in each and every photograph. It’s so clear how passionate she is about each and every one of her couples and how she treats every wedding with such respect and care.

My wife and I hired Alyssa to photograph our elopement in upstate New York in 2021. We had spoken to a few different elopement photographers during the planning process but felt an immediate connection with Alyssa from the first conversation. I remember the excitement we felt after our first call because we knew we had found the perfect person to photograph this moment in our lives.

When you look for an elopement photographer, you’re not only searching for someone with the talent and experience to capture fleeting moments and transform them into lifelong memories, you are choosing someone who will also be a part of creating those moments. Alyssa was the fifth member of our elopement group (wife and I, plus two friends) and she was a perfect addition. She fit right in, encouraged us to be ourselves and made us feel perfectly comfortable in front of the camera.

Alyssa’s images are simply gorgeous. They are wonderfully natural, authentic and intimate - the very same factors which led us to elope rather than hold a traditional wedding. It’s obvious that she shares our love of nature, and has an impeccable eye for capturing the sensation of humans connecting in a natural environment. In addition having a highly creative and refined eye, she brings expert knowledge of the elopement process and helpful resources for planning our day from having photographed a wide variety of weddings and elopements previously. We had a decent idea of our itinerary when we first spoke to her, but she provided very useful suggestions for finalizing our elopement schedule to make sure we would fully enjoy it without being too stressed or tired by the end of the day.

My fiancé and I came to Alyssa during a time of overwhelm and frustration. We were planning our wedding during difficult Covid times and had already planned a destination wedding out of town at a venue which we ultimately cancelled and went back to square one and planning all over again...this time a local wedding in our own backyard. With our new plan and having our wedding in our backyard we were so excited yet not only were we unfamiliar with wedding planning and considerations but we also knew our wedding would look different than we originally thought it would. We found Alyssa while searching around Instagram for local photographers to our area and while Alyssa will travel all over the country and beyond, what drew us to her was the beautiful images we saw on her Instagram page as well as her "out of the box" thinking and ability to take any location and make it beautiful!

Alyssa was prompt in all of her correspondence and was there for us during every step of the planning process leading up to our wedding day. She cared so much about getting to know us and familiarizing herself with our vision for the day and made sure she captured everything we wanted her to.

When our wedding day arrived, Alyssa spent our entire day with us, essentially from start to finish which was another thing we LOVED about her! Instead of putting us in a formula of 4 hours or 8 hours, she spent the whole day with us! That meant the world because it allowed us to take the entire day at our own pace instead of setting up a timeline that would fit all the "essential wedding moments" into her allotted time window. This put us at such ease and also allowed her to capture all of the moments from the day instead of just some of them!

Alyssa was so easy and flexible to work with, she made the day about us instead of about her schedule or itinerary and we are so thankful for her. She told us when we spoke that once our day arrived we wouldn't even notice she was there, and she was right!! My fiance and I were both nervous having a photographer focused on us (because of course that has never been something we have experienced before), and she put us at such ease! Not only is Alyssa incredibly professional and organized but she is SO MUCH FUN!! We took some time out to take sunset photos and we had a BLAST with her like truly cannot imagine Alyssa not being with us for our day, she was fun to talk to and laugh with and if I needed help with my dress or if my fiance needed help with his boutonniere she was there to lend that help!

And the PHOTOS! THEY ARE STUNNING!!! Literally the next evening after our wedding day Alyssa sent us a preview of 20+ wedding images from the day and we were so excited to have some photos to look at and continue relishing in the amazingness that was our wedding day.  We just received our full gallery from Alyssa a few days ago and I don't think I've stopped looking at our photos since she sent them! Every single one is stunning and unique to us and to our day. There isn't anything that she didn't capture and what has been so much fun, is seeing photos of moments from our day that we didn't even know about! Her photos truly tell a story of our day from start to finish and captures everything so perfectly.

Alyssa is such a talented photographer and has such an eye for beauty as well as an ability to put her couples at complete ease. She pours her heart and soul into her craft and it shows. Working with Alyssa was a dream! Her correspondence was prompt and detailed - we decided to have a quiet elopement, and Alyssa was there every step of the way to bounce ideas off of and clarify logistics, etc. Her website is incredibly transparent, so there were no surprises in terms of expectations or prices.

The actual elopement session was so easygoing and effortless. I told her upfront that I was worried about being awkward during photos, so she was great about giving some direction without posing us too much. It felt really natural having her around - she was there when she needed to be, but 'out of the way' at the right times too. She was also very prepared with an emergency bag with a sewing kit, hand warmers, and so on, which came in handy when my dress was snagging on twigs and the wind kept me chilled. When we forgot a few things back in the car, she cleverly put together some of our bags and jackets to sit on so we wouldn't be on the ground. After our ceremony, all 4 of us in attendance commented how great she was during the ceremony.

I've received our sneak peek photo gallery, which was above and beyond my expectations! I assumed that we'd receive 2 or 3 photos, but instead we got 20+ beautiful photos within 24 hours of our ceremony. I can't wait to see the full gallery. Alyssa is so talented and natural at her job, and it really shows in her work. Her photos are personal, intimate, beautiful, and real. I can't recommend her highly enough!

Going into this, I was so overwhelmed with all the details, I didn't realize this was the most important piece of the process, and I was SO GLAD to have Alyssa guide us through this and help us understand what we even wanted. I'm forever ruined with photographers because I learned so much about what I love about perfectly taken photos from looking at our gallery that now I recognize everywhere the little things that Alyssa did so perfectly in our photos that are missed with many other photos I see online.
